I seriously think that Michael Hudson will be remembered far longer than Milton Friedman or any of these other hacks, whose historical legacy will be footnotes of western decline

Hate for CT is so forced - not unlike safe edgy jokes about the French - average CT resident enjoys poking fun at the state in the same outdated way the Simpson’s called Springfield shabby before the American Dream died. Far uglier scenes in Mass, Florida, etc.
I don’t agree with this romanticism about Connecticut …this state is apocalyptic it doesn’t get worse …I’d choose to live in Gabon over this, it has all the worst qualities of third and first world plus horrible weather; would guess New Jersey is same.

You Can See Everything - Another hypnotic exploitation film from Oppenheim. You end up learning more about what kind of person Amanda Seyfried is than you do the impenetrable Elizabeth Holmes.

I think they did Billy pretty dirty - wanting money to have a film crew in your house 24/7 isn’t some huge moral failing

Laughing at the emotional cope in the comments, sorry folks this looks indistinguishable from Gaurdians of the Galaxy 9 and just parroting “slop” isn’t going to hold up for long!
Watch the new trailer for Gossip Goblin's #GodsDontGiveGifts, coming to theaters this December.

The problem is that most blockbusters are already “slop” or worse than slop, so there is only potential upside to this if it allows heterodox filmmakers to make their unfundable projects real. We can imagine young guys getting scouted for talent in AI festivals

The art of Directing a film and “prompting” are very similar - the director is not the cinematographer, gaffer, editor, foley artist, actor, location scout etc. - he is the one “prompting” these forces. If an AI collaboratively constructs a film set and blocks out actor movements in 3D by your direction, at what point does this stop being “slop”? I can direct movies in my head; I see the characters and setting. An AI direction platform that creates concrete settings and remembers fine tune prompting for export - this is my dream.

It’s absolutely insane that our legal system anonymizes the accuser but not the defendants - de facto guilty until proven innocent.
Newly released Text Messages in the Cornell University Case It seems the more that comes to light, the clearer it becomes why prosecutors may have declined to bring charges. These text messages obtained by ABC News don’t show someone discussing a rape. They show someone being beaten down by campus gossip, embarrassment, and the fallout from what happened. Then, on November 8, she wrote, “I think I’m done talking to you. I know you lied.” That same day, she made her complaint. Text messages: October 23, 2024 J Doe: “bro everyone knows ✌️ i’m incredibly stressed out. some random [REDACTED] told some of my friends i don’t even know who that is how [REDACTED] she know me???” Then: J Doe: “i will also say this is RUINING my life temporarily” “my reputation is destroyed and i’m utterly ashamed” Then: J Doe: “you’re right it’ll get better and u think everyone’s jealous of us.. but also like everyone needs to grow up cause sexuality and sex and [REDACTED] is changing and stuff like this is going to become more common.. i’m also really open minded tho. i luv u king,, also tell anyone who gives u [REDACTED] that i’ll actually beat them up that don’t want the smoke i promise” November 7, 2024 Male: “My ex told me that I’m being labeled as an assaulter in the public eye, I was going to ask if you may have said something along those lines to someone but I know you wouldn’t” Response: J Doe: “i had a friend who was going to chi phi and i said don’t” “but i’ve never mentioned your name” November 8, 2024 J Doe: “i think i’m done talking to you. i know you lied.”

What a beautiful day for gaming, the GMOD-ification of everything. Every game now plugs and plays with every other, and you'll be able to combine three entries in a franchise into one seamless journey or realize your own vision We need "right to repair" laws for old games, fast
I put all of Minecraft inside Mario 64. I've been working on this mod basically non stop for two months, but I guess super grok can do it in a weekend now or something. full video and in depth technical breakdown coming in a few days. (and the mod release obviously)

This is the "Will Smith eating Spaghetti" of just telling the computer to make you a triple A game and it's already 50% there. The cope about 'slop' is going to get real quiet real fast xitter.cf/chrisfirst/status/2104…
