Great review of the new @LukeHaines_News & #PeterBuck double LP that I thumped tubs on. "This is consistently disturbing, funny (in every sense) listening". RIGHT ON. pifl.co.uk/2022/10/27/luke-h…
New @LukeHaines_News / #PeterBuck album just unleashed on the world and I couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of the surrealist steam shovel that created it! @ScottMcMinus5 co-wrote the music and provides bass goodness at shows where #Nickgrowlerfowler is on keys and siren

I had the pleasure and honor of talking to the most excellent podcaster and writer @MarkCaro. Check out the other fantastic chats on his Caropop podcast site - brilliant company!
Supercool drummer Linda Pitmon, who plays with the supergroups the @BaseballProject and @FriendsFilthy, stars on this week's Caropop, sharing the joy of performing songs about baseball with @stevewynn, @ScottMcMinus5 and @remhq’s Peter Buck and @m_millsey. caropop.com/caropopcast/epis…

Update from the @BaseballProject in Kernersville, NC: "It’s a wrap! 15 shiny new baseball songs in the can. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry…and you’ll tell us who to write about next! 🤘🏼⚾️🎸(pictured: Steve, Peter, Mike, Scott, Mitch & Linda)
It’s all happening! First show is just hours away in Glasgow. The clouds are lifting!
“After two years & at least three postponements, the Luke Haines - Peter Buck 🇬🇧 tour is on! Scott McCaughey, Linda Pitmon & I recently flew to London for rehearsals. Scott, Luke, Peter, Linda & Nick Fowler exhibiting fine footwear.” - Peter

I’m watching old interviews with #charliewatts and just heard him give the best description of our ilk. “The very nature of playing drums is a nervous twitch. Being a drummer is a cross between being an athlete and a totally nervous wreck”
Collect ‘em all from my supremely talented friend!

So sad and shocked to hear about Tom Steven’s passing. I didn’t know him well but every interaction I ever had with him was filled with his generosity and kindness. Deep condolences to his family, friends, and band mates. 💙
