If an AI application requires computing resources, user authentication, and payment services, Pi can find ways to participate at various points along that value chain.
Pi Ventures has invested in OpenMind, while Pi itself is developing SoloHost and identity services. These initiatives align with the goal of serving as an "enhanced utility" driving further productive activity on the network and expanding its practical applications.
The ongoing development of the Pi Network ecosystem with the rollout of new technologies, apps, and upcoming major events like the Ecosystem Summit stands in sharp contrast to the stagnant or declining price of the PI token.
While this may seem like a paradox to many, it is actually a very realistic outcome dictated by the laws of supply and demand in economics and the crypto market.
Ecosystem growth serves as a crucial long-term foundation for building real-world value. However, in the short term, prices are driven strictly by selling pressure (supply) and capital inflows (demand). As long as unlocked supply continues to outweigh actual money flowing into the market, the price of PI will struggle to break out regardless of how much positive ecosystem news emerges.
What are the 6 major crypto projects demanding?
Although the SEC has issued "explanatory" guidance stating that their tokens (such as LINK, HBAR, XLM, APT, AVAX, ADA) are considered digital commodities rather than securities, these 6 organizations argue that this is still insufficient legal basis.
They have formed an alliance and put forward the following main proposals:
Legalizing the concept of "Digital Commodity": Requiring the SEC to directly include this concept and definition in official legislation, not just in explanations/guidance.
Separating Tokens and Investment Contracts: Affirming that the fact a token is traded or involved in an "investment contract" does not mean the token itself becomes a "securities".
Clarity for the secondary market: This allows exchanges and investors to legally buy and sell these coins without fear of sudden lawsuits from the SEC.
3. Why is this important?
Avoiding being classified as a "Security": If a crypto coin is classified as a security by the SEC, the project will be subject to numerous stringent regulations, making it difficult to trade on US exchanges and increasing the risk of penalties.
Creating a sustainable legal framework: When clearly recognized as a Digital Commodity (similar to Bitcoin or Ethereum), these projects can confidently collaborate with large corporations and expand their practical applications without fear of looming legal risks.
Promoting large capital flows: Clarity in regulations is a prerequisite for traditional financial investment funds (Wall Street) to enter the Web3 market.
In short, this action is a coordinated move by Layer 1 platforms and leading infrastructure to pressure the SEC to establish clear, officially documented rules, helping the crypto market operate more stably and legally.

* The ideological distortion and the communist fever among young people:
* The movement originally began with high school and university students protesting dilapidated schools, teacher shortages, and inflation.
* It later took on an extremist ideological tint, with spray-painted slogans such as "Capitalism must die" and "Long live the Paris Commune."
Some young people openly called for abolishing the capitalist system, praised communism and wanted to bring it in as a replacement, romanticizing the model of "from each according to their ability, to each according to their needs."
* The naivety and contradiction of dreaming about communism:
* Having grown up in the cradle of the superior Western welfare system (free healthcare, subsidized tuition, generous vacations and benefits), some young people do not understand the real nature and cost of communist/subsidy-based regimes (such as scarcity, queuing for rationed goods, and no incentive to build wealth).
* Young people demand a "to each according to their needs" model while ignoring its two core conditions: wealth must be extremely abundant, and a spirit of voluntary labor must be perfect.
* The paradox: using the maximum freedom of speech granted by a capitalist government to curse capitalism and praise communism is a glaring contradiction.
If they stood in the middle of an actual communist society criticizing the regime or demanding its overthrow, they would clearly risk severe legal penalties or prison, instead of calmly using expensive technological devices and spending the welfare benefits of capitalism.
* Exploitation by opportunistic groups and the immigration issue:
* The demonstrations were exploited by radical youths from poor suburbs (immigrants of North African and Middle Eastern origin).
* Lax immigration policies created communities that refuse to assimilate, live off welfare benefits yet despise the native culture, and seize the chance of riots to smash property and challenge national order.
* Consequences and lessons:
* The riots destroyed small businesses and consumed billions of euros of taxpayers' money in repairs.
* This is an expensive lesson showing the danger of pampering people with welfare while neglecting to teach civic responsibility, allowing unrealistic ideals, lacking an understanding of history, to become the tinder that leads to chaos and self-destruction.
🇮🇹 A tense clash between riot police and protesters in Milan, Italy (October 19, 2026).
This was the second day of violence, with chaotic scenes as a group of protesters dressed in black smashed shop windows and threw objects, while police used shields, batons, and tear gas to chase and subdue the crowd in the streets.
As soon as they arrived, they started smashing cars with sticks and threatening people.
Did they expect people to stay silent like in other places?
No. The Italians gathered, dragged him down, and wrestled him to the ground.
No one stood watching, no one shouted "stop beating him."
They beat him until he lay still.
🚨 ELON MUSK COULD TURN 72 MILLION AMERICAN CHILDREN INTO SPACEX SHAREHOLDERS! 🚀
🔥 One share per child. The total estimated value is up to $10.51 BILLION USD at a price of $146.03 per share.
If the plan projected for 2027 becomes a reality, tens of millions of American children could own a stake in the company behind Falcon 9, Starlink, and Starship.
🌍 Imagine a generation growing up with a stake in the space industry from a young age!
Europe is in turmoil! 🔥
A wave of protests driven by concerns over the cost of living, housing, and education is spreading across Europe:
🇫🇷 France: The hardest-hit country, experiencing days of rioting and looting.
🇧🇪 Belgium: Violent clashes in Brussels and Liège, with students protesting against education reforms.
🇮🇹 Italy: Unrest in Milan for two consecutive nights, resulting in 32 arrests.
🇦🇱 Albania: Days of anti-government protests that have grown increasingly violent.
🇪🇸 Spain: Violent demonstrations in Valencia and Barcelona.
🇵🇹 Portugal: Large crowds took to the streets in Lisbon, though the protests remained mostly peaceful.
This is not a single, unified movement, but rather a collection of separate grievances regarding the cost of living.
The value of Pi didn't just fall from the sky or get artificially inflated by the Core Team for Pioneer's benefit.
Users are the ones who create that value: from running network security nodes, acting as validators for KYC verification, building DApps on Soroban, to accepting Pi as a payment method for goods.
If you don't contribute, don't expect results.
🤨KYC BOTTLENECK: A TECHNICAL BARRIER OR A GREED FILTER FOR THE CROWD? 👀
The slow and strict progress of KYC can be seen as a "two birds with one stone" move by the Pi Core Team.
From this angle, there are a few core points:
1. "SMASHING" THE PRESSURE OF EVERYONE SELLING AT THE SAME TIME (SUPPLY SHOCK)
🔹 The disaster scenario: Imagine if 50–60 million users passed KYC easily at the same time and received their full Pi balances in their Mainnet wallets. The moment exchanges open their gates or transfers flow freely, a "tsunami" of sell-offs from millions of people looking for quick profits would pour out. What buying power could absorb that? The price of Pi would surely free-fall to almost zero within minutes.
🔹 The "Bottleneck" strategy: By tightening the KYC algorithm (from AI screening and national data cross-checking to manual review by Validators), the Core Team creates an extremely narrow funnel. Pi arrives in Mainnet wallets in a "trickle". As a result, the selling pressure on the market is spread out over time, which keeps the price from collapsing instantly.
2. ELIMINATING FAKE AND CLONE ACCOUNTS (BOTNET)
🔸 During the free mobile mining phase, the number of fraudulent accounts using emulators and mass-created clones to cheat for Pi was huge.
🔸 The complex and strict KYC process is the biological filter that sweeps billions of "dirty" Pi out of the real circulating supply. The Pi of accounts that fail KYC or are suspended will be destroyed or returned to the fund, reducing the risk of dumping by illicit coin-mining farms (bot farms).
3. FORCING TIME TO "WAIT" FOR THE ECOSYSTEM TO CATCH UP
🔸 The pace of blockchain technology development (building DApps, integrating Soroban, enterprise payment gateways) is always much slower than users' desire to take profits.
🔸 If everyone finishes KYC but the ecosystem has no real applications for using Pi yet, people have only one path: bring Pi to the exchanges and sell it for cash. Delaying or prolonging KYC progress effectively "buys more time" for the Core Team to push developers to complete their apps, creating real demand to buy and use Pi before the huge supply floods out.
4. BUT... WHAT IS THE PRICE TO PAY?
Everything has two sides, you know:
🔹 Loss of trust and sudden drop in enthusiasm (User Churn): Being stuck on KYC for too long discourages many genuine Pioneers, leading them to abandon their accounts or turn skeptical of the project.
🔹 Media scandal: Many people will accuse the Core Team of being technologically weak, or of deliberately "sitting on" user data.
✍️🛌
Saying the Core Team is "deliberately delaying" may be a bit biased, but saying they are "actively controlling the KYC pace to regulate supply and reduce selling pressure" is completely accurate from a strategic economic perspective. It is how they protect the survival of the network, even at the cost of the community's impatience!
🔹 Does the PCT really listen to the Pioneers' voice?
Saying the PCT is "deaf" to the community isn't entirely accurate, but the way they listen and respond is rather... odd and "academic."
🔸 They listen through data, but rarely respond with words: The PCT governs like a technology engineer. They look at the statistics on Testnet, the KYC success/failure rates, wallet error data, or the Feedback tickets in the app... and quietly fix things. But they are extremely "sparing with words" and rarely step up to explain or clarify with something like "we're fixing this one, everyone please hang in there."
🔸 The gap in perspective: Pioneers want a clear roadmap (a detailed Roadmap day by day and month by month, listing dates, DEX progress...), while the PCT holds tightly to the mindset of "we'll announce it only when it's done and safe." This gap creates the feeling that the PCT looks down on the community or doesn't bother to listen to it.
🔹 The community's "mess" – A double-edged sword
🔸 Pi's barrier to entry is extremely low (all you need is a phone to mine), which leads to a community that is sharply divided: from people who understand technology and finance, to people who only know how to "check in" and then follow nonsense rumors on social media.
🔸 FUD rumors and excited rumors about prices in the thousands of dollars spreading everywhere make accurate information get drowned out by noise. When the PCT sees the community is too chaotic, they withdraw even further, choosing to announce only when everything is "real facts, real work," to avoid being exploited or manipulated.
🔹 All in all, it's "interesting" in the sense of being angry yet still having to keep following, right? An ambitious project expanding globally but choosing communication as tight-lipped as a secret service agency would make even the most patient community members tear their hair out.
🔸 What do you think: is this "tight as a sealed vault" approach a strategy to protect the project from legal barriers/competitors, or is the PCT simply overloaded when it comes to community management?
The Pi Core Team views Pi as a foundation for a global digital economy; the timing of the transition in control may be just as significant as the technology itself.
A network serving millions of users encompassing payments, digital identity, and economic applications must strike a balance between three key factors:
Security: The system must be sufficiently stable to mitigate risks as operational authority becomes more widely distributed.
Readiness: Nodes, applications, payment systems, and governance mechanisms must be mature enough to ensure the network no longer relies on a single point of control.
Continuity: The transition process must not disrupt ongoing economic activities.
