Robby had NOTHING to do with her sickle cell patient diagnosis - he only pushed Samira to: please stop delaying and please perform the necessary intubation before said patient dies.
I have acknowledged Robby was wrong on the mercury poisoning? They are both wrong sometimes.
"No character on the Pitt is wrong 100% of the time, and no character is right 100% of the time" seems like a fairly reasonable position to take but my god does it make people hella mad...

Take me back.

One of the most delicious character creation things, to me (which the Pitt does very well btw) is where you give a character a trait which is both their greatest strength AND their greatest flaw.
Absolutely 10/10, no notes, I'll take 12.

If the world is getting a little too much may I recommend the inexplicably obsolete word ‘latibulating’, from the 17th century? To latibulate is to find a cosy corner somewhere and hide in it.
I am intrigued by/down for a McKay-Langdon scene. And I do think there's some interesting potential there.
But can I pls remind everyone, for reasons of Amusement, that when Langdon tentatively offered McKay a hug when she was having a bad moment, she looked at him like THIS:
Fuck it, I'm feeling Spicy today: no, no she doesn't. And that's: a problem/not a good thing, actually!
You ever heard that phrase 'you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make it drink?' Yeah.
It's hard to teach someone who will not listen/refuses to be taught.
One day I'm going to throw away the few remaining fucks I'm hanging on to and unhinge abt how much i DESPISE the general Pitt fandom interpretation/view of The Pedes Scene (yes that 1x14 one).
I will then be killed by a pitchfork bearing mob. But at least my truth will be out.

Idk i just feel like when ao3 is back up I need everybody to be heaps more graceful towards fic writers because if two weeks without their works is painful then maybe we shouldn't be discoursing weekly about how much you think they suck at writing.
"write what you know."
me encountering frank 'chronic back pain haver' langdon: finally. my time has come.

i think the santos langdon dynamic is fr my “when you disagree with most fandom hcs” instance when it comes to the pitt. i’m so firmly in the “they can just be regular co-workers who are ok with each other” camp
writing Langdon's POV on anything is kinda hilarious. because of the way the boy Copes by downplaying/making light of everything ("Sweet! Family reunion in post-op!") it really doesn't matter how tragic the Situation i put him in is: he WILL find a way to force humour out of it.
i was legitimately JUST about to post my first (HOW!?) robbylangdon fic on ao3, this is tragic. they knew this fic would be too powerful and that I had to be stopped, t'is the only explanation.....

do you ever read fandom discussion with people passionately discussing their takes on what the canon did wrong only to end up finding that they're treating their own headcanon they share with maybe two other people as irrefutable god-honest truth
Part of me really hopes Langdon's bar buddy is Santos. Bc it'd:
1) continue her theme of inadvertently adopting coworkers at the end of show-shifts and
2) she's objectively the funniest option I can come up with, and when in doubt, I default towards hoping for that 🤣
10/10 one of the best comments u can get on a fic is anything along the lines of "hey I could hear this in their voices while I was reading it!"
like yaaassss. I have NailedIt. got a good grade in writing characters in-character, go me.
I need people to realise that: CONTEXT IS NON-OPTIONAL in terms of analysis/understanding/criticism.
