This weekend my son spoke at local earthday event about his project. I am very proud parent!

My son received donation's from Hardesters, Calpine and Plangarden to build his raised garden.

Last weekend picked up Redwood for sons Eagle project - Raised garden beds for local project to feed those in need.

Not often would I recommend cooking veggies without washing, but it has been raining today and the kale was very clean.

@luvmydautr I have a small, but diverse set of trees. From lemon and kiwi to pear to walnut.

@luvmydautr I wanted a pecan, but I ordered too late this year. Also just built green house this spring which I need to get them started.

@luvmydautr This is year two for my almond trees. Just babies. I don't expect any nuts, but looks beautiful and smells nice.

One almond tree is in full bloom. Other trees are still holding back. I thought they would follow more closely. Frost this AM.

It has been a cold spring. Almonds are marginal in this area, it would be better if the tree waited like its brother/sister a held back.
