An impossible theological conundrum? 🤔 I know a man who is in a homosexual marriage. Been married to the same guy for 35 years Can he be saved? 🤷‍♂️ Before you answer, have a think about what that means. Would he have to divorce his partner? If your answer is yes, then are we adding a CONDITIONAL requirement in order to get saved? are we saying he has to give up the man he loves in order to get saved? Would God accept this man and save him if he gave up his homosexual lifestyle/marriage? Would doing so prove that works are indeed a condition for salvation? Oh but you say to me, he wouldn't have to divorce his partner, he would just be required to stop having sex! Yeah that ain't happening lol, sex=marriage.....I would say that would be an impossible burden to place upon that man and expect him to do it, just in order to get saved Is there a solution to this conundrum that doesn't require works? Are we as believers hypocrites in boasting that salvation is entirely of grace, and not of works, yet we will tell those that are gay that they have to change FIRST? Some years ago I prayed to the Lord to help find me a chess club I'm an introvert, so if I didn't force myself I would happily stay inside as I avoid people like the plague Anyway long story short, not only did the Lord provide me a chess club, I've had the opportunity to meet quite a lot of genuine saved Christians in the club as well!!!
