Very excited to have had an opportunity to write for @GoogleOSS. This post tells the story of Gateway API - how it evolved from the high level idea of "Ingress v2" and the key decisions that helped define the what the API would become.
🎓 The Kubernetes Gateway API graduates to General Availability → goo.gle/3tThi9A Check out the blog for a look back at some of the key moments that led to this point, starting with the proposal that started it all, and see what's coming in the future.

This is exciting!
John Howard and @keithmattix are introducing GAMMA at #KubeCon. This is a working group to determine how Gateway API can be used to represent mesh. Really great to see so much interest in this!
