I have always held the belief that manager is not that important at this level as long as they’re generally competent. I think Boone is generally competent.

About now I’d say “October baseball can change this narrative.” But we can’t do it without Judge. And even if he tries to come back, his achilles is a ticking time bomb. There is no happy ending to any of this. Oh and there won’t be a 2027 season. Everything sucks.
