I wanted an artstyle I work on rendering part heavily and whenever I was like THIS IS BAD in sketch/lineart/coloring/shading part, I was like "I can fix this while rendering" That worked fine BUT My sketches and lineart became so lazy now 😭 I dont know how to turn back

Whenever I draw the same character for the 2nd time sketches never look like the part and then rendering becomes extra hard. I didn't have this issue when I had a cleaner sketch/lineart process... how to settle with one art style?? I literally want to change it max 1 year after

++how could I make the skin look right, I looked for some references trying to find a teal colored skin example, and in the end i love it. Looks so soft and pretty... pinks, purples and navys here and there are to die for... ✨ The OC belongs to AlexAOV (vgen username)

I feel like a nuisance when I drop my Vgen account link in response to tweets here from people looking for commissions; is this really the right way to go about it? I’m only doing it because I saw others say they found clients this way, but would it make more sense to try and+++

+reach an audience by creating fan art instead? On the other hand, I want to get verified on Vgen... I’ve already received two commissions. Since I’m so close to crossing the $100 a month threshold (2 more needed) I feel like finding clients by fanart would be way more impossible

ALSO--- I know my characters r pretty basic humans, is this somewhat a hypekiller? They're from my novels, and these novels're based on the modern world, I love their design sm so it's not like I'd change it, BUT Im curious is it the reason there's not many people attack me?
