This person has said what I've wanted to say for a long time now. Thomas fans tend to forget that these are real people who worked on the show and that they view Thomas in a completely different way than the fans.

After having a think about this, I think there is a possibility of the Too Hot for Thomas airing being a scheduling error. It is airing on a random Thursday and not starting from the beginning of Series 8 which is suspicious. Plus the air date is November 5th- (1/3)
which is Fireworks Night where Milkshake usually will air one of the two CGI episodes themed around the day - Too Many Fire Engines or Samson and the Fireworks. My theory is if it is a scheduling error, Too Many Fire Engines might be the real episode airing considering- (2/3)

I feel like season 20 and arc seasons like it, are the perfect modernisation of Thomas.
It’s understands the core fundamentals and rules the show follows but improves it with dialogue, music, animation, editing, pacing, cinematography etc.
It’s a fantastic interpretation.
