Society’s obsession with forgiveness is one of the biggest contributors to abuse of all forms. Somehow the victim is gaslit into forgiving someone who wronged them but the same energy is never had for the actual abuser/perpetrator.

I don't know how we got here. Two people in a relationship can be on the same EXACT salary of £2000 per month and one person will be expecting the other to carry the weight of their own expenses. That's quite interesting (derogatory) in a world of economic chaos.
