IMO the biggest mistake you can make nowadays with AI is to stop being curious. AI finds an issue and fixes it, sometimes better than you but sometimes, if you take the time to understand the problem, you will want to try other solutions, give other perspectives to the agent and go further and you might end up with a better version of it or learned something along the way. I think there has never been a better time to be curious, because with AI you can explore and research ideas in minutes. You are able to go deeper in your understanding and learn more about any topic you want, even the ones where you lack the foundational knowledge, because you get such a personalized approach to learning. Keep asking whys and what ifs, don't stop at the first solution you get and keep learning because that increases your chances of staying relevant

Hi all :) I'm looking to improve Storybook for Vue users. If you maintain a Vue design system or component library and don’t use Storybook, what stopped you? And if you tried it and dropped it, what was the moment you gave up?

Rulekit is currently paused. I recently started seeing errors in the logs about invitations failing and it turns out that some things have changed and you can no longer invite collaborators with just read access to a personal repo. You can if it's in an organization so I did just that and it deleted every single member and locked the repository so I can't invite. Because of that, plus the fact that I haven't been able to push updates to vue rulekit in a very long while, I just paused the sales. In the meantime, reach out on discord if you want. I might open source some of the skills soon ✌️

So sold on Rex by @superlogical The persistance of tmux without the hacks and beautiful by default 😭 I'm only missing my Ghostty shader for the cursor. I hope it comes in the future

And it should also sync the UI config with one in .config/rex

As coding radically changes, I still think Frameworks play their role of abstractions: they get you where you want faster and with less bugs But as a Framework author, you just don't optimize for the same things anymore, e.g. API design was exclusively meant for humans and now we try to make it work for both but that could change in the future and the balance could steer more towards Agents. Shipping fixes is faster, migrations are much easier, so major version can happen more often. Breaking changes are still scary to some people but the truth is you are done with the migration in less than a day, most of the time in less than an hour. I can't remember when was the last time I updated deps (major, minor, etc) manually. It's just a matter of "Update deps, majors too, skip TS 7, do it in groups. Verify with tests and build. Open a PR when finished, no description" to your agent and go focus on something valuable. In fact, this should just be a CRON agent every week + one every day for patches and maybe minors to account for bug fixes

Big news. Shaders is now open source πŸ”₯ Use any of our 200+ WebGPU components in your work. Ship magic in a client site, a template, a product, a library, anything. Plus, you can export code for any framework, for free. Give it a star: github.com/shader-effects-in…
