PUNK 2 BRICKS
I built a tool yesterday. Upload a photo of your CryptoPunk, get back a brick bust of it: the build instructions, and the parts list you upload straight to the LEGO site to order everything.

Built with Claude Opus 5.5. Code is open, repo below.

The collection is whole again!
When the Ordex Ethscription marketplace disappeared, 2,244 ittybits were trapped in its marketplace contract. 22% of the collection!
Today, their ownership histories have been reconstructed, official successors issued, and the complete 10K collection committed on Ethereum.
Here’s how. 🤏🧵

ittybits is if not the best, one of the greatest derivatives @cryptopunks ever 💎🤏

chiming in — @ittybits_eth explored something very similar...
each ittybit lives fully on Ethereum: 10k individual txs, with the artwork embedded directly in calldata
identity is content-addressed — each ittybit is tied to its own sha256 hash (last 4 characters map to its ID + corresponding punk)
Bonus: Every ittybit’s lower-right pixel is a hex signature matching their ID #. e.g. ittybit #8348’s final pixel is hex value #008348 – with an alpha value of 1 (basically invisible – but still there in the data).
This is notable, as the image itself is self-referential - the on-chain pixel data alone contains the data necessary to identify the ittybit.

🧵 IttyBits: Why these tiny pixel punks might be among the most on-chain creations ever made
They're not just pixel art.
They're part of Ethereum itself.
Let's break it down👇

As one of two based rollups live on mainnet AND the only rollup to fully remove admin privileges, we are proud to support @fabric_ethereum's initiative. True decentralization + based sequencing is the future of Ethereum scaling. 🔐
1/ Fabric - a community-driven effort to collectively agree upon standards/components & continue accelerating coordination to drive forward the based rollup ecosystem. ETH Research post and thread below.

Honored to have recently presented Facet to @drakefjustin's Based/Preconf community. Dive into Facet's public good approach to Ethereum scalability, delivering the only EVM-equivalent rollup that is impossible to shut off.

🚀 Introducing facet.dev – an IDE for Solidity dev that simplifies launching contracts on Facet with a streamlined Compile > Deploy > Verify workflow:
1️⃣ Compile: Write or paste your Solidity code, including multi-file and external imports!
2️⃣ Deploy: Publish your contract live on Facet.
3️⃣ Verify: Ensure your contract is verified and transparent for everyone.
What will you deploy?

🧵Facet is excited to announce an important milestone on the path to our much-anticipated mainnet 🚀launch. On Tuesday (Nov. 19th) we will launch the final release candidate for Facet mainnet on Sepolia (test network). Let's discuss what that means:
1️⃣ What is Facet?
2️⃣ Sepolia Launch Logistics
3️⃣ Next Steps

Facet introduces the first public good scaling solution for Ethereum that doesn't introduce new trust assumptions.

Atomically-Based Sequencing
Every Facet TX is natively an Ethereum TX.
👀Look how happy the L1 Validators are!
jeremy.eth retweeted
With the forthcoming Facet v2, a fair-launch native gas token (FCT) enables Facet to fully decentralize by eliminating permissioned contract deployment.
It only gets better from there.
Facet will continue to innovate with TX batching via blobs (EIP-4844) to achieve sub-penny transaction fees.

The ⛽️gas mechanism in Facet v2 is more
decentralized and secure than any other L2.
No privileged keys.
No upgradeable contracts.
Just like Ethereum itself.

We think you'll be pleased with v2
Read through the @0xFacet intro blog today, and quite fascinated. That every PoS node had to do all the calc to verify never made sense intuitively.
Will be super interesting to see if they can map all of the operation space of ETH proper or not.
Either way a good read. Highly recommend.
