also i feel a lot of people don’t grasp how different nyc is like economically, like pay is a lot higher for similar jobs, most people don’t have cars which are a huge monthly expense, and a lot of natives live at home!

I also live in nyc so my only expense is the ticket itself! I eat before going in and bring in an empty water bottle so I’m not paying msg prices for food/drink, and the only outfit I spent any money on was one of my harryween costumes, everything else was stuff I already had
my coworkers keep asking me what % I think I’m in for like number of shows this residency and they’re gonna love to hear about all the posts I’ve seen of peoples tickets
