Finally managed to visit 8th century BagaLi Kalleshwara temple. Probably the only temple in Karnataka developed by all 4 major dynasties, Rashtrakutas, Chalukyas, Hoysalas and Vijayanagara. (Thread)
Brigade Group founder M.R. Jaishankar studied at a century old government school in Chikmagalur. Earlier this year, he adopted the school and transformed it with best-in-class facilities. Truly a much deserved Rajyotsava Award.

Bad move. This will be a PR nightmare for @DKShivakumar. Language based bias in hiring has been happening since the 80s in blr, & the root cause is tribalism & corruption. Intervention by the govt or non-governmental organizations will only make things worse for local talent.
This is exactly what i mean when I say “Tribalism and Corruption”. You can’t get involved in a large scale corruption and win if you are not surrounded by your people.

Finally made some time to watch Digger. One of the most layered, darkest political satires I’ve seen in the recent times. Great performances but couldn’t stop thinking how Al Pacino, instead of Tom Cruise, might have made Digger even more sinister and impactful.
It's high time these pretentious Indiranagar blueticks listed "secretly taking pictures of Kunal Shah while he's having breakfast" as a hobby on their resumes.
