If you're not offending anyone, you're not telling the truth, and if you're only offending some people some of the time, you're only telling selective truths, for to tell it utterly is to offend everybody equally all of the time - and not perfectly - for some may be upset more often given your choice of fixation and differences in group fragility, but nonetheless if a person does not like you for offending those they dislike, before disliking you for being offended by you, that's a sure sign you are not applying the same standard of truth evenly.
A truth teller does not only tell the truths that humiliate your enemies, they also tell the truths most unflattering to you. You see, most people put tribe before truth, but for the truly offensive man, his tribe is truth.
