I’ve been designing and building an app recently how do I even share this here do I just make a video of me talking about it or what
I ended up making these yesterday, but they don't really work as well as I hoped. gonna thicken the strokes and simplify and probably make filled variants for v2
working on a project, and I finished everything before making icons for it.
and now I have to actually make them I am looking at my portfolio like "how did I make any of this???"
I need this for birding... omg
📹 Video as Photo Assistant 📷
( ( audio ) )
At this year’s Fleet Week, I mounted a GoPro to the hot shoe of my Sony A7RVI while shooting with a 400–800mm lens.
After importing the footage, I asked Codex to build a viewer that synchronized photo bursts with the shutter sounds captured in the video. Using Three.js and the GoPro’s motion telemetry, we placed the footage in 3D and added horizon-leveling assistance.
To approximate where each photo was framed, we added a rectangle sized from its focal length and image dimensions, with compensation for the GoPro’s stabilization.
Makes me wish the camera had a built-in context camera so more of my capture sessions could be reviewed this way.
It’s such a delight to build bespoke creative tools like this.

I’ve not been birding for a while, but I hung out with my local heron earlier, and he posed for me. This was taken on my phone
my goal was to show a ton of work in different ways. and make it easy for me to just throw stuff on here without writing case studies. it's still missing a bunch of product design work and probably a few hundred icons but I did what I could 😅
looking at all the expressive eyes in a shape discourse, a couple years ago I did some very quick explorations for v0 when @pranathiperii asked me for something fun
peak really makes the apple watch worth using just for the complications alone. great app by my buddy @harshil
Always love photographing my local great crested grebes. I’ve been photographing them for a couple of years now, this was from Thursday morning.
a dipper swimming in the river, I think this is the most interesting thing to see them swimming against such fast flowing water with ease. they don't even have webbed feet
working on a lil animated guy for my new site. will probably speed up the animated icon but so far I like it
Also photographed some kingfishers the other day. They were pretty far away but always lovely to see
I finally got to photograph Dippers yesterday! Beautiful birds with some unique behaviour. Watching them swim and hunt in the water up close was great.
