Been inactive on X for over a month. A lot has happened.

If AI will replace product designers,
why are AI tools designed by product designers instead of AI itself?
If AI will replace graphic designers,
why aren’t AI companies making their own social posts with AI?
If AI will replace motion designers,
why aren’t their launch videos made entirely by AI?
nobody tells you this before going full-time freelance:
it's genuinely unstable.
some months you have more work than you can handle.
some months you're wondering if you made a huge mistake.
I quit a 4.5-year job after getting one retainer.
The safety net disappeared overnight.
and even with clients, you're still thinking about the next one while delivering for the current one.
posting, outreach, calls, follow-ups, client work...
it's basically 5 jobs.
so why do it?
because the ceiling doesn't exist.
but don't come here just because you hate your boss.
you have to love the uncomfortable part too.
