There is no Right Wing in the United States that exists outside of Trump / MAGA, except in an academic sense. There are a lot of people right now trying to convince you that America isn’t worth preserving. Some want you to believe this country was rotten from the beginning, others want you to believe it is too far gone to save, and some are simply just sitting this one out.
But as my husband often said, “no black pilling!”
Take that to heart. If you sit out an election because you are disappointed with Republicans, you don’t get an empty government for two years. Somebody still wins and then they get to govern and they will use the power you handed them to turn this great country into one that is unrecognizable.

It’s cheap passive aggressive anti-Trump positioning. Trying to CYA if the GOP loses the midterms and everyone on the Right turns against Trump. DeSantis is doing the same thing. It’s why neither are fit to lead. Fundamentally not up to the task.

Trump MAGA deals with the most sophisticated and intense propaganda assault 24/7, 365, and has been for the last decade, along with multiple attempts at a color revolutions and other various underhanded sabotage shit. If the Left had that much control and people were that indifferent, it would have been crushed ages ago. The “base stays home” problem is solvable and entirely within our control. It’s just that too many who purport to be the tip of the spear don’t want to solve it unless they get the accolades. Eventually the other side concedes. If we win the midterms that would scare enough Blue senators from Red states that no help is coming any time soon (2028 gen election is practically in the bag for GOP) and they will move to break the filibuster to protect their seats. It’s an 80/20 issue.
If you get into a fight you accept that you are under threat almost by definition. The other side gets to fight back. If you want to avoid a fight then *any* threat to your safety is unacceptable. Do you see the difference? The impotence comes from telling your opponent that you want to avoid the danger. Just because the Right and the Left can’t talk to each other doesn’t mean we aren’t communicating.

People mock the speaker’s reaction to the call for violence, but retreating from campus events would signal greater weakness than whatever this guy said. LARP alternatives and impotent threats don’t make up for retreat.
