Sometimes when you meet your hero, it's a disappointment. Not the case when I visited @Mets legend Ed Kranepool. @OysterBayBomber

How to say “I’m a moron” without really saying it. Our tv guys are good but for well over a decade I stream @RaysRadio instead of the announcers no matter who is calling the game. And when I was traveling doing my blog they kept me company on some long rides!
Replying to @DavidPSamson
@DavidPSamson says MLB no longer needs radio: "We don't need baseball on radio anymore." The former Marlins president predicts on Nothing Personal that "radio will go the way of Kodak and Blockbuster." @JohnMamola has more. #MLB

What a season. Two years ago the Trop was a disaster zone. Played 2025 in Tampa. We got our Trop back better than ever and it was a great season. Thanks to @andybfreed and @neilsolondz for another great season. What a ride! And as always, #RaysUp
Watching the Rays final game of 2026 at the Trop with Fox muted and listening to @andybfreed @neilsolondz and @ChrisAdamsWall on the call to take us back to Milwaukee!! #RaysUp
Good morning from America’s ballpark! Let’s do it again tonight @RaysBaseball

That’s a lame sight…
All the booze being rolled out of the Brewers clubhouse after blowing a 1 run lead in the 12th …
A lead that would have made them World Champs 🤦♂️

Oh! My! God! Rays win! Rays win! Rays win. There WILL be a game 5, and I’m gonna need more beer for tomorrow! @neilsolondz great call on the winning hit, looking forward to at least one more game with you and @andybfreed #raysup
Not sure what Pratt’s spray chart shows but Simpson was shaded way towards center on that, especially for a right handed hitter.
Wash, rinse, repeat and hoping for a win!! @RaysBaseball on the screen, muted with @andybfreed @neilsolondz and @ChrisAdamsWall of @RaysRadio on the sound system. Best pxp team in MLB! Let’s at least send this back to Milwaukee today and tomorrow! #RaysUp
My Rays are struggling at the plate this World Series. First set of graphics are for regular season hitting with runners in scoring position and runners on base. Second series show the World Series. We just aren’t performing. Brewers are chugging along.
My great aunt just turned 98. When visiting her last week she thought I’d like a farm basket that was my great grandmother’s. She included pages of flowers clipped from @WomansDay from June…. 1948!! I don’t think she’s ever thrown anything away!
Hey @16StSubstation since they are beating up our boys, can you turn the power off in the Brewers locker room post game?
Ok so the A’s are a far cry from the Brewers but in a game against Oakland this season, the Rays scored 8 runs in one inning. Ya never know…
Let’s go Rays!! Locked in on tv with @RaysRadio with @andybfreed @neilsolondz and @ChrisAdamsWall blasting on the sound system!! Feeling lucky with the very rare FOUR peanut shell from ones we grew! #RaysUp

A New Jersey-based fan named Rev Ciancio visited 77 different ballparks this season. At each one, he would get a hot dog with mustard, eat it after “Take Me Out to the Ballgame,” and grade it. Here are his top 10:
10. Joliet Slammers (National Association of Professional Baseball): A “rock solid” offering.
9. Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs (Triple-A PHI): “Exactly what a ballpark hot dog is supposed to taste like.”
8. Sussex County Miners (National Association of Professional Baseball): “They’re the only team that I’ve been to that has a ripper, where they’re actually deep-frying the hot dog.”
7. Albuquerque Isotopes (Triple-A COL): “It’s almost foul to highlight how good the hot dog was because there’s so much good there.”
6. Boston Red Sox: “This is one of the Major League stadiums where the lore of the hot dog holds true.”
5. Richmond Flying Squirrels (Double-A SF): “It was just a well-rounded hot dog. Like there was magic and you don’t know why.”
4. Brooklyn Cyclones (High-A NYM): “It’s part of their culture to have a good hot dog.”
3. Chicago Cubs: “I feel like Chicago teams have a right and a duty to produce good hot dogs.”
2. Chicago Dogs (American Association): The poppyseed bun was an “ingredient difference maker.”
1. Reading Fightin Phils (Double-A Phillies): “When you eat a hot dog at Reading, it’s as though every single hot dog was individually cooked. One person took one hot dog and made sure it was perfect.”

Ran this 3 times, it’s a great course!
