Two Honkai: Star Rail leakers have been ordered to pay miHoYo around $150,000 for sharing unreleased game content.
One of them accessed test data and shared tutorials showing other players how to unlock unreleased content. The other leaked character models, abilities and gameplay footage.
The court ruled in miHoYo’s favor, ordering both to stop leaking content, publish public apologies for 30 days and pay 1 million yuan (around $150,000) in damages.
Earlier this year, another leaker was ordered to pay around $16,500 for livestreaming unreleased footage.
