A reminder to families: there are no classes for students tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 25th) as it’s a professional learning day for staff.
Yay!!!!!

Hi, students in pre-primary to grade 3 are not required to wear masks in schools. Sitting in a circle for a story or a lesson is fine as long as they are within their cohort. However where possible, they should be spaced out.

Why does everyone in #nsed but system leaders (responsible for a #readynotready reopening plan that bathes students in hopelessly mixed messaging about public health/safety) need “learning moments?”
When will system leaders have their “learning moment” & change course? #nspoli
NS Education Minister Zach Churchill tells @CTVAtlantic students who are not abiding by masking and distancing requirements outside high schools could be fined. He says it could be a "learning moment".

Great advice @DarrenFisherNS!
When can #nsed parents, students & staff expect to hear your calls for @StephenMcNeil to fully deploy the $48mil in Federal safe reopening funding to address the profound inability to distance in classrooms, wash hands & inadequate ventilation?
I know life can feel a bit blissful in the #AtlanticBubble but we’re not out of the woods yet!
It’s just as important as ever to physically distance from others and wash your hands! 🖐 🧼
We still need to work together to keep each other safe. #COVID19
