They put a second Dan Sullivan on the ballot in Alaska… and now Governor Mike Dunleavy is saying out loud what half the country already knows. Dunleavy says the state and federal probes into the candidate they call "Decoy Dan" are looking at conspiracy, perjury, and anything else that could upend Alaska's Senate election, and he is asking the basic question… why was Daniel J. Sullivan Jr. on that ballot in the first place when he "didn't really have a campaign"? Democrat Mary Peltola is sitting less than 700 votes ahead of Republican Sen. Dan S. Sullivan, about 102,962 to 102,325 with roughly three quarters counted, while Fake Dan pulled around 3,600 votes… more than five times the current margin. How do you look at that math and still pretend this is just politics as usual? Here is the reality. You do not need boxes of ballots to tilt a race when you can put a man with the same name as the sitting senator through Alaska's top four primary and leave him sitting there as a decoy while the margin collapses under a few hundred votes. President Trump already said the Fake Dan Sullivan votes plus the other slug they stuck on the ballot should go to the REAL Dan Sullivan and the election is over. There is no other fair solution. Think about it… show me a serious campaign from Decoy Dan. Show me the rallies, the ads, the ground game. You cannot, because it was never a real candidacy. It was a name game, and the people of Alaska are supposed to shrug and wait for ranked choice on November 18 like that magically washes the confusion out of the count. I am angry, and most of you are not angry enough. Same last name, thin margin, late ballots still coming, ranked choice weeks out, and anyone who notices the decoy gets treated like the problem while the press sells you "safe and secure." Walk past the evidence. Trust the process. That has worked out so well for generational Americans. Make no mistake, if a decoy with your senator's name can sit on a ballot, pull five times the margin, and still get waved through as democracy, then every close race in this country is an open invitation to the same trick. How is this even a thing and why are we still dealing with it? Mike Dunleavy, keep those probes moving and put every finding in the sunlight before certification. Dan Sullivan, do not concede one confused ballot. @realDonaldTrump, do not let Alaska get stolen by a decoy with the same name while everyone waits for the next AP call. But God.
