isn’t this a bubble in itself? most people around me, especially in traditional industries, barely know what AI can do beyond basic use cases
I keep telling people this Regular people around me already use AI apps all the time in advanced ways Most tech people are in their own bubble thinking we're the only ones who use AI

I let Claude Code run the entire launch of my open-source tool for 1 day It handled almost everything, from posting on X, Reddit and LinkedIn to launching on Product Hunt, pitching businesses, building a website with checkout, and fixing bugs Here's what came out of it > 116 repo clones > 12 Product Hunt upvotes > 5 Reddit posts (1 went viral) > 51 local businesses contacted > A website, service listings, and a README in 13 languages But the most interesting part wasn't how much content it produced It was how much the product improved along the way I got feedback from actual builders on Reddit, found bugs I hadn't caught myself, and added new tests based on their suggestions The lip-sync validation became more reliable, and I added a flash + click sync test that can detect delays as small as 100ms The agent didn't just help me promote the product. It helped me build a better one Of course, not everything worked Most posts got very little engagement, some platforms blocked the automation, and posting everywhere didn't magically bring users That's probably the biggest lesson from this experiment AI can help you execute at a scale you couldn't manage alone, but distribution isn't just about doing more things It's about getting the right people to notice, try, and care about what you're building So I'm changing my approach Less mass posting, more direct conversations with builders, and more time helping people showcase their projects If you're launching something or building at a hackathon, record yourself explaining your project once. I'll turn it into a demo video for free I'm doing this for the next 5 people Here's the open-source tool I launched: github.com/codeswithroh/pitc…

Today I'm open-sourcing Pitch Video: a video editor that films your product for you. Record yourself explaining your product once. Your coding agent does the rest. For example, I gave it one messy 2:25 webcam take: > 18 shots, each cut to the exact words that introduce it > captions, sound design and music added > trimmed to a tight 1:53 > lip sync measured at 0 ms before it handed the file back No editor. No timeline. One take. Pitch Video is completely free and open-source. Try it at: github.com/codeswithroh/pitc…
