In 1933, The Biltmore Hotel proudly advertised both beautiful parks surrounding it. Today, Pershing Square is nobody's pride and the lovely Central Library lawn has been replaced by the post-modern, post-fire addition. And as for those room rates... #DTLA #mydayinla

In 1949, Los Angeles broke ground on Pershing Square’s first underground parking garage to adapt to the city’s growing car culture. Nearly 70 years later, that garage has accumulated substantial deferred maintenance. 🚗💨
