Great day @YaleCardiacSurg @YNHH Robotic Mitral Team. New dedicated DaVinci Xi for cardiac surgery. This academic year we did 95 cases and have done 265 cases since we started the program less than four years ago. Super proud of the team and this accomplishment.

What is one of the things I looked for in a program that I found in @YaleSurgRes ? Yale Chief residents are able to operate/handle anything. Period. In addition, they are able to effectively manage patients who are ranging from stable to critically ill. It’s second-nature to them

I did my last ever Dr. Horowitz case today. She’ll be retiring before I rotate back on service😭 So excited for her! Nobody could deserve a happy retirement more, but I can’t imagine @YaleSurgRes without her. She’s a master teacher, a role model, and my own personal life coach❤️
