On Hogmanay the proposals were shared with the Trustees of the PTFC Trust. During January the proposals were examined and clarifications sought and given.
We are now pleased to present our roadmap to genuine fan ownership to the entire Partick Thistle support.
We were assisted in the early stages of our discussions by Garry Halliday of the Foundation of Hearts and Alan Russell of Supporters Direct Scotland. We would all like to formally thank Alan and Garry for sharing their advice and experience.
A Working Group was set up to prepare proposals to present to the majority shareholders (the PTFC Trust). The Working Group was made up of representatives of the PTFC Trust , TJF, The Jags Trust and the John Lambie stand fans.
To that end the PTFC Trust, The Jags Foundation, The Jags Trust, Proud Jags and other fan representatives met in December. All discussions were amicable and there was a clear consensus on the goals we ultimately wished to achieve.
The Future of Fan Ownership at Partick Thistle Football Club – A Roadmap
As Partick Thistle fans begin their journey as owners of their beloved Club it is important that we demonstrate a clear path towards an inclusive, democratic and representative fan ownership model.

We have further reassurances from the club that, with the undersoil heating, the pitch is in great condition for today’s match, sponsored by @ptfctrust and @Jags_Foundation
With just over 24 hours to go until kick-off in our cinch Championship with @AyrUnitedFC, there are no concerns with the Firhill pitch.

📩at the ready...
All season ticket holders of @PartickThistle will receive an email this evening setting out the process by which the Trust will contact them as current or future beneficiaries 🇧🇪🙌
This will inevitably take time and mean changes, so we would ask for your patience and assistance while we are on this journey.
It’s time for everyone who loves Partick Thistle to unite and pull in the same direction, starting on Saturday against Cove Rangers.
It is the intention of all the current Trustees to resign their positions when we are satisfied that the shares in the club are held by appropriately qualified people, in a suitable fan ownership vehicle.
We will shortly be inviting supporters to volunteer for a working party to shape the future constitution of the Trust Deed.
We would urge supporters and fan groups to nominate individuals they would like to put forward for consideration for these positions. All nominations should be sent to [email protected]
