Already looking forward to the end of winter. Going to take a month to rip out a big grass lawn, put in paths, a shade tree, pollinator plants galore, irrigation, and mulch. Doubt I'll get to my vegetable boxes, which breaks my heart a bit, but doing little by little.

I think I need more people to even get close to this :p
So many SO-ARMs! 💪 Here is the robotics workshop organized at @NVIDIAGTC Berlin that uses SO-ARM101 and LeRobot to control real and simulated robotic arms. The light box makes it easier to get policies working in any location and light conditions.

Lots of things recently have been leaving me wondering if I should sell everything and disappear into the forest, but robotics projects have a special place in that lineup :)
Some days robotics work leaves you with a smile on your face. Other days it leaves you questioning your life decisions. ;)

We’re rolling out Gemini 4 Argon in Antigravity to paid Google AI Pro subscribers today. Demand has been incredible and we've scaled capacity deliberately to get here. We’ve rolled out a separate weekly-only Argon quota for Pro on top of the existing Gemini bucket for 3.8 Flash so you have the best of Gemini for all your tasks.

Dear spies: we just moved and our almost 3 year old daughter could use more friends. Meet us at the park and bring snacks.
OPENAI to EMPLOYEES: If someone is trying to seduce you, first consider — could they be a spy??? OpenAI is warning its employees about honeypot spies and strangers with children in playgrounds ... a very fun one with @georgia_wells and @MeghanBobrowsky: wsj.com/tech/ai/ai-companies…

Gemini 4 Argon taught a robot to play cornhole just by watching a video. It mapped the physics, coded its own simulation, and taught @Apptronik's Apollo humanoid to sink 7 throws in a row.

Gemini 4 Argon is here! 🔥 It opens up a new frontier of intelligence for physical AI, including understanding, simulating, and learning complex, real-world physical tasks that matter for robotics 🦾 . Here’s an example of how: 🎥 Argon watched a raw video of a human playing cornhole 🦾 It mapped the spatial coordinates of the environment, and calculated the required whole-body joint movements. 💻 It autonomously built the simulation code with MuJoCo, and then it practice in real 🎯 When transferred onto @Apptronik’s Apollo humanoid, the robot quickly sank seven consecutive shots in a real-world trial 🤯 . This "Video-to-Sim-to-Real" pipeline compresses weeks of manual modeling into a few hours and is a step change across physical AI. Learn more to prompt your robot at: developers.googleblog.com/ge…

I've gotten four separate messages from people today (on top of the multiple I get a week) trying to sell robotics data. Y'all, it's saturated. Check into new problems.

PSA: Robotics has a “data problem”, ONLY if you believe that throwing more data at the current algo/“model” will lead to generalized robotics.

Every winter since I moved to Colorado, I've worked on the basics of a new skill. This winter it's going to be sewing clothes so I can do better on the soft parts of costumes. Aww yeah.

This is why I don't talk about features I love in Google products - I didn't realize this wasn't public yet. Copying and pasting code as markdown from AI Studio for organizing notes is pretty killer.
We are making Markdown files work natively across Google Drive and Docs. You can now preview .md files in Drive, open them in Docs, edit them, comment on them, and collaborate without converting the file into a Google Doc!

Nope, but I have fallback plans
if you got fired today would you be able to pass a coding interview?

Or like half a dozen of them that you get ok at and then revisit once in a while :)
it's very important to have hobbies that have absolutely nothing to do with tech.

OK but how cool is this?
Manual grafting is getting automated. 🌱🤖 TTA-ISO’s GraftLine combines Vision AI and robotics to automatically select, cut, join and inspect young plants. Up to 4,000 grafted plants per hour. ⚡ What used to require delicate manual work can now be handled by an automated production line. Would you trust AI and robots with the grafting process? 👀 🏢 Company: TTA-ISO ⚠️ This content is shared for informational purposes only. robotics startups are getting too lazy about branding if your product is named "isaac", "newton", "asimov", "atlas", "lattice" or some other common robotics word Claude will suggest, and your brand is white on black or black on white, nobody will remember it

Lots of discussion out there about our next model(!), so I wanted to give an early look as soon as possible. Introducing Gemini 4 Argon! It shows frontier performance in complex workflows, cyber defense and software engineering. Teams are using it extensively at Google, from coding to quantum computing, great feedback. Here’s a look at the benchmarks:

Apparently when my wife is repeatedly telling our toddler "stop", the followup "collaborate and listen" from me isn't appreciated
