The Pune city traffic police have barred heavy vehicles from using Bajirao Road and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road throughout the day on Saturdays and Sundays until Diwali concludes. Vehicles were reportedly lined up for nearly 3 to 4 kilometres, causing significant inconvenience to motorists travelling on the busy highway.
