and can i say something else artists can sell fanart, plushies, keychains, trinkets etc. of other people’s work/characters… but fanfic writers can’t even ask for kudos without backlash

yes i’m still on about this cause im annoyed. yes i understand copyright laws. this is just an overarching example that what writers ask for costs NOTHING

every time AO3 goes down it's made evidently clear how much ppl need fic writers but don't show up for them.

also why is it so hard for y’all to click a button. it’s one click. ONE. we spend hundreds & thousands of hours writing, share it cause y’all beg for this shit, then paint us greedy for wanting “engagement”. ITS. ONE. BUTTON. its just respect & acknowledgement !?!?!

it’s always the people who contribute absolutely nothing but negativity in fandom being loud & wrong. you don’t write, you don’t make art, yet you open your mouth to tell us how to feel & what to do. shut the hell up with your “you shouldn’t care about kudos/likes”

i’m under a needle rn so i’m angsty & idc if i piss people off. if you’ve never posted fic or art, your opinion is worthless to me. why do YOU care how we feel? “ao3 is an archive” uh huh & they added a kudos + comment button for a reason you BUMS!!
