The way people talk about it, they seem very satisfied with the game having "cool references" to Castlevania, callbacks, nods, whatever Could it instead though BE CV instead of a reference to itself? What are we doing Did you wait all this time for Family Guy cutaway gags?

I've gotta lock in and actually play more modern games, I keep booting up retro stuff instead because it's so much faster to get into/play lol to start, no 30 mins-2 hours of setup with patches/DLC, troubleshooting the display/audio, tutorials, heavy handed everything, blarghhhh

I guess the modern game enjoyer would flip this around to say that the game design itself of retro stuff doesn't respect their time, but the challenge and open-endedness of old games is something I enjoy about them too 😅 I do use a speed-up button sometimes though!

I may have to follow what my peers are doing and just mute words or block stuff etc idk, but I hate when people learn the wrong things and it leads to erasure of what I care about not that I've dealt with that before (hi Netflix show)
