“Incredibly dynamic” #RNA: Anna Marie Pyle’s group @pylelab sheds light on how a section of bacterial RNA catalyzes a reaction that frees it from its parent strand. This ancient splicing method still closely resembles that employed in human cells.

Happy to share our new Nature paper looking at intron RNP structures through the stages of splicing!
Also check out this movie that animates the full life cycle of the group II intron RNP (thanks to Margot and Janet again!).

Congratulations to all the GRC 2023 Nucleic Acids poster award winners! The poster sessions were one of the highlights of the conference! If you’re thinking about applying for the 2025 GRC, we definitely encourage presenting a poster about your ongoing science! #grcnucleicacids
The GRS Nucleic Acids was also a great success! Thank you Mano and @KrishnanYamuna for spending time with the trainees and ECRs!
2023 GRS Nucleic Acids @GordonConf! It was my honor and privilege to chair this meeting! Two days of cutting edge science followed by an amazing panel conversation with Dr. Mano @Alnylam and @KrishnanYamuna! I shall remember this meeting forever! #grs2023 #grs #nucleicacids
Dear Nucleic Acid GRC friends! Thank you all for attending the meeting, for all your energy, insights, and enthusiasm about our wonderful area of science. We look forward to seeing you in 2025. #grcnucleicacids #grc23
