NVIDIA just put 2,575 simulation-ready 3D assets on Hugging Face 🤯
A 472GB collection covering everyday objects, tools and industrial equipment.
It’s called NVIDIA SimReady Assets. The models include physics settings and semantic labels for use in simulated environments.
- Train robots to pick up and move objects
- Build virtual factories and warehouses
- Generate labelled training images
- Populate 3D scenes with ready-made objects
Useful for robotics research, digital twins and anyone building detailed virtual environments.

Wow, quality is exceptional
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

I don't understand what Apple's methodology is for automatic transition to dark mode, I'm in both a dark room and it is fully dark outside and it is still rendering in light mode

Small announcement: ✅ formal-git
As an experiment, over the last 2 months we've modelled ~30% of Git in Lean 4, making heavy use of coding agents, and proved >8000 theorems of varying usefulness about the implementation.
In the process of doing this we've uncovered >100 potential defects in Git v2.55, at least two of which may constitute security vulnerabilities. We've also built a DRT (differential random testing) harness and the biggest corpus of relevant pinned differential test cases for Git implementations with >10k unique tests at the moment.
We've used the test cases to test our own small internal implementation of Git in TypeScript. The next step will be to differentially test all notable public Git implementations against this corpus of tests to help improve their correctness and security 🫡 We'll be reaching out to library maintainers in due course.
If you have a Git implementation you'd like us to help you test, please reach out and let me know. We'll open-source all this eventually, after potential security issues that were uncovered are responsibly disclosed and fixed.
Hot take: I don't like the Duo
The hinge is oddly stiff
So heavy
No Face ID
Hinge-position-specific UI feels janky
Some of this will be worked out with software updates, but the heft is intense

Hi all, I have a new result I'm excited to share. It turns out that *all existing implementations* of softmax and cross-entropy (that's JAX, PyTorch, textbooks, etc) have a subtle bug --- two bugs, actually. A simple rewrite fixes both, and eliminates "slingshots" when grokking:
bruh
Sorry everyone... We're announcing a 0-Day vuln in QUIC that allows anyone to remotely turn off a server running these libraries. I swear we didn't plan this.

Optimus v3 enters volume production
Tesla says they have officially started Optimus production in Fremont on their high-volume lines.
"The bots coming off this line are the first production quality bots that we have manufactured. While we will continue to iterate on the hardware and manufacturing process, we have proven that the current manufacturing process for Optimus is suitable for a commercial product."
