Can DeFi build a better FX market for Latin America?
Onchain FX offers 24/7 access to dollars. But being always open doesn't mean offering a better exchange rate.
Take a look

You start to notice that you're doing a good job when you see the teams from the ecosystem coming together to build something amazing.
Bullish in Nora, bullish in Cloak. Bullish in Brasil.

We're building institutional access to collateralized private credit in LATAM, starting with Brazil's R$ 1 trillion FIDC market, through regulated onshore funds and US dollar investment offshore. Built on @solana.

"Blockchain was going to solve world hunger." It didn't. But @KristinSmith explains why it makes genuinely great financial infrastructure — and why she thinks Solana is the best at it.
It has been a while since I posted anything. Especially a deep analysis on the BRL stablecoin market.
This one is something that I wanted to do for a long time, but didn't have the chance. So here it is!
Every BRL stablecoin dashboard lies to you.
Around R$ 18 billion moved through Brazilian stablecoins this year and no dashboard shows this.

Just shipped a new dataset on the private credit market in Latin America and a deep dive into Brazilian structured credit funds.
I'm also cooking a content section for the site. Soon I'll bring recurrent analysis and insights at @teitenresearch and perhaps a newsletter.
I was wondering if there was a single economic indicator that could provide insights on what drives local stablecoin markets and accurately rank the currencies with the most thriving ecosystems.
🥇 BRL
🥈COP
🥉ARS
4 MXN
I usede some of @teitenresearch datasets to figure it out
Another important thing to notice is that none of this data could predict in which country local stablecoins would emerge first, and were it would not (perhaps with more datasets).
To create insights that drive decisions, data alone is not enough, knowledge on the local market is essential
This is why @teitenresearch existis. To create a knowledge repository that goes well beyond data
Its just an MVP (looking forward to feedbacks)
