most colo’s or neocloud operators can’t conclusively tell exactly how well their fleet is running against promised SLA’s. Thus, they don’t even know how to hold their vendors accountable - both the gpu racks and network hardware.
Tenants feel the same pinch from the other side, and are surprised when their workloads run badly despite being promised the 99.9% x-metric SLA.
also, very few people think about these problems at 10pm on a Saturday night. yes, i’m one of those.

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

When Amazon hired me on an H-1B visa, Amazon was making losses for 10 straight years. It was operating out of a rented building where we worked on door desks in small cabins. I was in the initial team that built AWS.
Today AWS contributes more than 60% to Amazon's profit. The stock price has gone 300x. Amazon's buildings have changed the skyline of downtown Seattle. Jeff Bezos went on to become the world's richest man.
There were about a hundred H1B visa holders like me in the initial team of Amazon. Good luck building companies and wealth without these 'indentured servants'
Vice President JD Vance breaks down the data:
"If you are working as an H-1B visa in the United States of America, you’re earning $20,000 less than an American citizen hired in the same position. If you were brought in by one of these foreign outsourcing firms, you’re making $48,000 less than an American citizen in a similar position. So I’m sure that everybody here understands the game that is being played. You bring in indentured servants from outside the country, you lay off American workers and, if you’re a corporation, you make a ton of money by under cutting the wages of American workers, replacing them with people who frankly shouldn’t be in the United States of America to begin with."
tell me you’re tone deaf without telling you’re tone deaf
Thank you, @POTUS, for this incredible honor today. I'm humbled to stand alongside so many giants of American innovation and looking forward for what we can continue to do together to advance technology and drive American prosperity.
as much as i am a fan of @Muse , for tasks that can be done with a few clicks, muse and its tendency to over ask for approvals along the way make it quite annoying. Like I want you to just get my eggs and cilantro delivered with one prompt.
If you ask me to solve a captcha, enter my cc manually cause stripe didn’t work, and have me click approve at the final window after maybe 5 mins of this back and forth, I was much better off doing a 1-2 click checkout on instacart or amazon wholefoods.
All corporate ad executives writing pages after pages of strategy docs and PRD’s to block their sites from agents in order to protect their headcount… oh i meant.. ads revenue… and the company culture / overall net revenue of course
raising money and brainstorming your next startup over chai >>>

- muse email addresses, that you can copy in threads and assign tasks - coming soon
- walmart, best buy, gap, sephora, instacart, added to your ecom integrations. too bad amazon’s not as customer obsessed as we thought

Muse is the first AI product where genuinely none of its users care about what model is powering it.
