My journey with Hapi, worth reading for those building for the first time or just who are interested in the #buildinpublic scene: linkedin.com/pulse/learning-…
Why building saas ui anymore? 🤷♂️
Been building Hapi for almost a year — quietly.
Started as 100% local voice notes. Now we record full meetings, have an app coming, and an assistant in beta.

Shipping a new version of Hapi today.
A voice assistant that doesn't just transcribe — it takes action.
In one day, 14 fixes shipped in my app. I didn't write a line of any of them.
Here's the setup, in plain English 🧵
Honest bit: setting this up took me longer than any single fix it has made. Most of that spent making sure the agent's fresh copy of the project could even build.
31 commits are signed "Cyrus (agent)". The other 2,075 are mine. Keep it in proportion.
Cory Doctorow in The Guardian: "putting vibe coded stuff into production is creating tech debt at unimaginable scale."
He's right.
The usual answer is "treat it like an intern and read the code."
I can't read code. I ship software anyway. 🧵
Honest caveat: this is my product and my risk.
A harness is not a licence to push unverified code into a client's production.
Doctorow's warning stands. Verification is how you answer it — not how you dodge it.
At Happy Operators we teach this 0 to 100 — systems, AI, spec-driven dev, autonomous testing. For companies and for individuals.
Not "learn to code". Learn to verify.
