It took developers 4-5 months for most used apps to be optimized for the iPhone X. It also took about 8 months in total to update most apps. Do you think Apple will be faster this time?

Sure but I bet that in the next month Apple will have more optimized apps than Samsung that has been in the market for the past 8 years..

The weight of the Duo is the only thing that worries me.. But honestly, if that means durability, I'm all for it!

I need to say that I see Apple as a greedy and very expensive company that doesn’t care about people. However, the move to lock preorders to just 2 iPhones per order, fighting scalpers, made me feel like they were actually caring about us! Thanks, Apple.

I asked 2 people working at the Apple Store if this is true and they said they have not received this message from their managers. They told me there's going to be a shortage of Duos but that's not news. So idk what kind of rumors this is.

It's all going to be a matter of reviews for most people, IMO. Think about this: if most reviewers say the iPhone Duo is bad or not ready for its release, do we think people will actually cancel their orders? The Duo 2 will come in about 10 months anyway.

Nothing extraordinary or unforeseeable here. I know this could sound like a conspiracy theory, but Apple was either unprepared to launch the product this year and really tried to push it fast, or they are trying to hype the product so much that an excessive amount of people decided to get it because it would make them feel more special and elite if they did. What do you mean that people need to wait until January to get their super expensive phone? And then in September the new one will be announced? Apple lost points here... or is just crazy smart for making people want its phones that badly.

I guess I’m going to the Apple Store at 5am standing in line next week. This is outrageous. (First world problem, I know..) the website was down for 4 minutes and wouldn’t let me in. Like.. wtf Apple! And because of that I need to wait till December? No thanks.
