The first era of Thunder basketball had 3 straight contending seasons ended by injuries.
2013: OKC #1 seed. Westbrook injured by Beverley in 1st Round.
2014: OKC vs Spurs in the WCF. OKC swept season series 4-0. Ibaka gets hurt before the WCF.
2015: KD season ending injury.
The second era of Thunder basketball had a contending season ended by injury last season due to the JDub and Ajay injuries.
Came out of the gate this season finally fully healthy and blew out the Spurs and Nuggets.
Then lose JDub and Cason Wallace to injury in the third game.
OKC is still incredibly talented and resilient. They will still fight every night and still contend. But just a run of awful injury luck for the most talented team in the NBA.

$SNAP this Q3 print might be the most important quarter since the Zirp era implosion. Any positive performance in the core business, better cash flow, better margins, better engagement, better DAU, better anything will be magnified by 2-3x. anything worse probably the same.
