A person being guided has the right to choose how. We appreciate the value of traditional techniques, but using the Tag can be added to that, or used alongside other methods if preferred. @mrfafleming is walking with a guide while his #GuideDog gets a free run. @guidedogsscot

The Ramble Tag is a symbol of independent living, choice and control. It challenges what we're told is the only way to be guided, but surely there is only what's right for you? This video shows the lightweight harness on the arm of guides/ assistants.

There's a range of situations that the Ramble Tag has been preferred. Tate gallery, airports, train stations, running competitions, parties, hiking clubs, beaches. A tool that can enhance traditional sighted guiding, not replace. @guidedogsscot would love to work with you! : )

There's a cheaeky big tactile stone dragon on Irvine beach. He seemed very impressed by the new and improved Ramble Tag, and suggested it would be a great tool to use on the beach with a guide. (I'm just passing on his words of wisdom.) #mobility #guidedog #whitecane #rnib

I'll second that. Tools for independence can be fun looking, and expressive. Everyone has days they want to shine a bit brighter. I have a range of Ramble Tags to cover both fun days and under the radar days. #mobility #rambletag #guidanceaid

Tom is now officially retired. I'm going to keep supplying the Ramble Tag on my own, delighted that I found a way to do this. (While stock lasts is the current situation.) I've got a few fun plans that I'll share soon, including online treasure hunts for a FREE Ramble Tag.

6 years ago, Tom and I said if we could help one other person it would be worth it. We've hopefully helped a lot more than that, but unfortunately our journey is coming to end mid Sept. We thank everyone for their enthusiasm and support throughout. Closing sale in our shop.

Will gave us a list of reasons why he and his hiking group love the Ramble Tag. 1 - "A typical hike covers several miles and lasts a few hours, often on uneven terrain. It's tiresome for a VIP to hold on to an elbow for long periods. The RT loop is much easier to grasp loosely."
