‘Sometimes you honour what you had by having the courage to let it end’
You’ll forget them on a random Tuesday, and that’s the strange mercy of time. If you left for reasons you knew were real, let the ending have its dignity. Don’t turn a breakup into a negotiation simply because you miss someone. Respect their distance. Resist the urge to chase, explain or prove that you still care. When nostalgia arrives, remember why you left. We have a tendency to mourn the person we lost and forget the person we were when we decided we had had enough. You can miss them. You can love them. You can even leave a small corner of your heart open to the possibility that life may cross your paths again. But you don't have to act on the feeling. Some things are not meant to be fought for twice. Sometimes you honour what you had by having the courage to let it end.

Someone said Mamdani became Mayor just to get rid of everything that pissed him off as an individual & I believe that. Lmao
NYC now legally requires companies to make cancelling a subscription as simple as signing up, the first US city to do so "If you can sign up with a click, you must be able to cancel with one," Mayor Zohran Mamdani said

Uzuri ni Standard will take their pics, zoom and make a crazier headline. Then they will do a whole special with the same faces telling us where they came from and a clip of them being paid
The murderous regime has mobilized goons with 500 bob each to heckle Standard Media Group editors at there main office along Mombasa Road for being too radical on criticizing the government, following the Ballot Stuffing Expose among other banger headlines. Goonism will not silence Kenyans. Kenyans can see evil and Kenyans will continue speaking.

In Dholuo, we love saying “Ngima ema duong.” It means that the gift of life is greater than anything else. It implies that as long as there’s life, we can do anything. That as long as you’re alive, there’s room to try again. And again. Thinking about it always makes me smile.
