Relaunching Onto, Free to start: Serve on one site, Read with 1,000 credits a month, no card. We're live on Product Hunt today, and I'd love your feedback: producthunt.com/products/ont…
Introducing Onto, AI agents are reading your website, and most of what they get is noise. Stripe's pricing page is 699 KB of HTML. As Markdown: 17 KB. We're relaunching Onto: your site answers agents in clean Markdown, at the same URL, and shows you who's reading.

with the command log attached, the agent knows exactly which take was the one where the build actually passed

making a shut-it-down-by-june pact and then actually hitting it is the kind of grit you can't fake at demo day

the root file is the only onboarding doc in history that actually gets read every single time

agreed on cost. the hard part is cleanup, since raw pages come with nav, banners and footer noise. onto read is my take on that: a live api plus an mcp server that turns messy pages into clean markdown for agents. happy to get you set up if you want to try it: app.buildonto.dev

agreed. the annoying part is keeping those markdown versions in sync every time a page changes. for next.js sites, onto serve handles that: one build step generates the markdown, agents get it and humans get the full page. about five minutes to set up, and i'm happy to walk you through it: app.buildonto.dev

nice list. the one i'd add is making sure the real content is in the html, not only after js runs, since a lot of ai crawlers never render it. on next.js i built onto serve so agents get clean markdown of each page while people get the normal page. happy to set it up with you: app.buildonto.dev
