Learning horror from the best! @ThomasGrip's blog/talks are a wealth of knowledge! Lately I've been immersed in lots of games, game design books, blogs and talks I've learned so much & applying it all to my next horror game It takes time, but it will be worth it, I promise;)

Over a year since my father passed away I think about him every day He never fully understood my work - making games. Yet he would gladly give his last penny to support me That's why I'll continue to weave my heart into my work Thanks for everything dad youtu.be/pxPbZ-dogT8

Writing the story for my indie horror game was overwhelming, but these 3 tips helped me: ↓ continued in thread ↓

[2/3] Not everything has to make sense from the start. You don't need a complete story. Add a billboard in the game, then think what might be advertised there and why? Add a picture frame in the house, think who might be living there.. Things will fall into place

[3/3] Share parts of your work, see what people think and how they react. I person on reddit sent me a link about a 80's advertisement that my game reminds them of. And so, I decided to include that into my game, which lead to a lot of ideas
