Crews responding to water line break on Jackson Blvd. Water service disruptions to residential & commercial properties in 600, 700 & 800 blocks of Jackson Boulevard – both sides street. Traffic: northbound traffic reduced to one lane in affected area. Completion: late afternoon
Columbus/Fifth Street water line repairs: Wednesday, prior to morning commute, traffic control placed in outside northbound lane of Fifth St & merge traffic into one lane through designated work area. Traffic control may remain in place for several days. Use caution/reduce speed
Wednesdsay: crews repairing water line at Columbus St & Fifth St. Residents near Fifth Street between Quincy St & South St may experience a disruption of water service. Water line repairs completed by late afternoon (same day) & service restored upon completion of repairs
Lacrosse & Omaha Street water line break:
Northbound traffic is reduced to one lane on N. Lacrosse Street in the affected area. Drivers are advised to use additional caution in the affected area and reduce travel speeds. Updates will be provided when available.
Crews responding to water line break near Lacrosse Street & Omaha Street. Water service impacted to approximately 50 homes & 50 apartments in 400/500 blocks of E. New York St, Racine St & 400/500 blocks of E. Chicago St. Repairs anticipated to be completed by this evening
Effective Monday, September 28, Halme, Inc. will be installing a new water main and storm sewer with roadway reconstruction on South Street. South Street will be closed from 12th Street to West Boulevard. Completion: November 20. Questions: 605-785-2323
Effective Thursday, September 10, City of Rapid City crews will be applying new asphalt on Rounds Street.

Crews responding to water line break on Cleveland Street between Third Street & Fifth Street. Water service is impacted to 16 homes. Repairs expected to be completed by mid-day Tuesday. No traffic restrictions, however drivers advised to use additional caution in area.
Aug 23-Sept 7: Roosevelt Park Swim Center's indoor facility closed for annual maintenance. Will reopen Sept 8. Indoor facilities closed during this time. Outdoor 50-meter pool and FitLot exercise area will remain open.
Tonight: Rapid City’s Public Works Department hosting open house regarding planned one-way traffic conversion of Monte Vista Drive between Canyon Lake Drive & Minnekahta Drive. Open house at 5:30 pm in the Circle of Friends Community Room of City Hall. Open to the public.
