Home sellers are trying to hold onto the fantasy that’s been going on, but the logic doesn’t fit. You can’t pay 3-4x what a house is worth, you just can’t.
I’ve been making egregious offers on houses just because I keep seeing so many reductions, but to be fair they’re only bad offers to people trying to make 2-3x what they paid.
This guy tried to tell me 100k down on a house that’s not even worth double that 🤦♂️ I told him that’s insane especially considering the market right now, houses are reducing, lowest monthly sales in a decade, foreclosures happening, interest rates are high.
His response was “let me hear your logic” “what’s a good down payment price?”
