Staying fresh and new with the times on my latest work through #jazzisdead. Working with artists like @adrianyounge and @alishaheed who have so much respect and knowledge of the artform makes me very proud to pass on these traditions. Thank you all for the love!

Nothing beats those original '70s #SoulTrain days, and this timeless track, which was released nearly 45 years ago. The music released on the new #jazzisdead @realroyayers record is a nod to the past and an echo into a new generation.
Feels just like yesterday. #1976 was the year when everything changed for me. This was during a live concert performance at the #KoolJazzFestival, at the Riverfront Stadium in Cincinatti, Ohio, USA, in July. Memories!

As if we didn’t love those artists and the label already, now they’re doing good stuff with Dusty Groove superhero Roy Ayers, too
Working with @alishaheed and @adrianyounge at @linearlabs was very special. They welcomed me like family and reminded me just why I continue to do this, and continue to share that inspiration.
