This week I published a major investigation revealing the oil and gas industry's long-running deception over natural gas. My co-authors and I lay out in new details and documents how big oil and gas manufactured the myth of "clean" natural gas.
NYT's @HirokoTabuchi writes this report "casts a harsh light on how the oil and gas industry has previously communicated the role of natural gas in global warming."
"Oil knew for decades of methane's danger" — check out the article on our investigation: nytimes.com/2026/07/21/clima…

Don't love outlets pretending they haven't downsized their climate coverage by crossposting other outlets' content.

So turns out that a top anti-climate lawsuit group was being funded as part of a 'confidential' oil industry campaign called 'Defend BP'.
@SenWhitehouse told me it's part of a long pattern of 'phony front groups flush with dark money.'

The Manufacturer's Accountability Project is ubiquitous fighting cities' and states' suits against oil companies. Now, it's clear they're being funded directly by at least one of those companies.

NEW: Two former Trump White House officials told me they had to show voter data to Trump to get him to release disaster funding to CA wildfire victims. He released it after learning that he had as many GOP supporters in Orange Co. as he did in Iowa. eenews.net/articles/helene-i…
