I've got lustrums of experience informing people and creating things using data and tech. I like shenanigans and I'd love to solve hard problems.

I don't know about you, but returning a digital book to the library early, especially when I see people waiting, makes me feel like a really upstanding library citizen. 📚⭐

What's good for corporations is not always good for regular people. I believe #AI can be used for the good of the many or to enrich the few. I predict, ten years from now, we'll look back on this moment as a pivotal point in AI development.

If LLMs predict the next word. Are people working on a similar system that predicts the next click within software? It seems like a similar concept with large amounts of available data for training. #AI #ChatGPT

Shout out to the woman who did my daughter's PCR test at School of Mines today. Shoving things up people's noses has to be thankless but she was so kind and took time to explain things. The world is weary - it makes me find moments of kindness more touching than ever. cc: @CDPHE

An innocent preschooler asks "What does "fine" mean?" and my head explodes trying to explain. High quality, ok, very thin, a penalty fee. 🤯

I'm not usually a #MotivationalQuote person but I do have a favorite one. This is for anyone who needs a little bit of self-acceptance today. "It's hard to be a person" - @aimeemann

My new favorite activity is writing creative thank you's into the notes for our food orders. (Of course, we tip too.) I hope they read them.

Just saw Starlink. My photo of it is awful but the sense of wonder at such fast-moving UFOs was fun while it lasted. It's 2020 so I didn't immediately rule out aliens.

I don't know about you but my friends' porch dropoff game is strong. The most wonderous things appear to keep me going through the week. (Not pictured, rapidly consumed home-baked goods.)
