GitHub Copilot supports one-million-token context windows and configurable reasoning levels for handling larger codebases and deeper problems.
• Available now in VS Code, Copilot CLI, and the GitHub Copilot app

The AI-as-judge pattern lets us use AI for evaluation. But what if we wanted contrary opinions on a plan/architecture?
I've written up how I've been using a jury (or mixture of critics) that work with a judge for a more holistic review.

We are seeing a common pattern across our teams that as you lower the barrier for contribution with AI you see two inner source behaviours emerging:
1) Increasingly feature suggestions come in the form of PR’s
2) Quickly you get more contributors outside your team than in it
I built a PowerPoint diagram to explain agentic AI, then turned it into an interactive site:

A visual mental model for context engineering, context windows, agentic loops, MCP servers, Skills.md, Agent.md, and more.
v1, so feedback welcome!

Asked @GitHub Copilot CLI for a Microsoft Build Tetris GIF. Got exactly that.
50 days until @Microsoft Build - hope to see you there!

GitHub CLI gets experimental /keep-alive (no sleep during long tasks), /chronicle for standups, and BYOK.
The team is cooking!

If your agents have to keep relearning the same repo quirks in every new session, that's a memory problem.
Instructions tell agents what you already know. Memory captures what the work teaches next.

And finally, my fave of the day: we brought the user role labels to the PRs list view. These respect org membership visibility, and some, like first-time contributor, only show to maintainers so you can prioritize bringing new contributors into the fold. github.blog/changelog/2026-0…

We just released a free, open source course - GitHub Copilot CLI for Beginners! 🚀
8 chapters. One hands-on project throughout. Goes from install to context, custom agents, skills, MCP servers, and more.
Fire up your terminal and start building. ✨

Typing the same setup into every new agent session, is a reusability problem.
Read my latest post explaining how AGENTS.md, SKILL.md, and Copilot layers help you package that context once and reuse it.

Introducing RubberDuck in Copilot CLI: a new builtin subagent for cross model family escalations. Sonnet will now proactively solicit input from GPT 5.4 and vice versa.
In our most difficult benchmark subsets, this results in a massive 5% improvement in resolution rates

Last week, @github became an official sponsor of @openclaw.🦞Fastest growing open source project in history. We’ve been working with @steipete + team to get them set up with more from GitHub, Copilot Pro+, funding for security, and ensure they can keep building, stay secure, and scale.
Today, we offer 280,000+ GitHub Copilot Pro subscriptions for maintainers, 150+ projects funded through our Secure Open Source Fund, and a wild overall GitHub Sponsors number I can’t wait to share soon.👀
Congrats to the entire @openclaw team. (And my Claw, Baxter, says “congrats” too.)
Bigger context windows don't make agents better on their own. Better context does. Context engineering is the craft of deciding what the agent can see, what it carries forward, and what stays out.

I submitted my dissertation on value creation in Developer Relations (#devrel) for my MBA last year.
I've been meaning to writeup the insights into a blog series, and have finally gotten around to it!
Still a few posts to go; you can find them at chrisreddington.com/series/t…

Replying to @leereilly @martinwoodward
Ok, so @martinwoodward did face breakout. @leereilly did eyebrow pong. @ashleywolf did scream Invaders. I forked around and found out... Song Bird!
Excuse the lack of vocal warm up... This was a pitch I should never have committed to 🐦🎤
