The new updates for NFT Strategy launches are very bad and it has negative impact on the platform. I know this post is long, but I have a lot of thoughts I need to share. Something needs to change, and I also wanna propose a solution. I think @Rhynotic made a rushed decision without giving it a thought. I called for changes right from the start, but it was in vain. Don't get me wrong. I'm really glad that, after a long time, Adam did some work on Strategies. The changes and updates for $PNKSTR and its synergy with $FWA are super cool for both protocols! I only have issues with the update below because it brought a huge amount of useless alt Strategies, and it broke the system and its potential. People are spamming new NFT Strategies that are lost, will never take off, and the platform does not even benefit from this spam. Previously, launching an NFT Strategy cost 1 $ETH, and no tokens were given to the person who launched it. 0,8 $ETH from that fee was used to buy and burn $PNKSTR. So even if someone launched a Strategy with no potential, the platform could benefit from the launch fee. Now it is very cheap, only 0,25 $ETH, and people get 1% of the token supply without creating volume for the Strategy. Why incentivize people to create useless spam? People are losing money because of it for no reason. Not to mention zero $ from the launch fee going to $PNKSTR, so the NORTH STAR token doesn't benefit from this spam of the new Strategies with 0 volume. It only creates a bad look for the platform. TGE was shortened from 89 minutes to 17 minutes. So there is not much time to generate proper fees for the NFT Strategy treasury. Especially when launches are in stealth, random, without any announcement, and people don't even know about it. I absolutely don't understand why this was changed. A longer TGE only benefits the Strategy. So this is another change for the worse, because no one will be interested in Strategies with an empty treasury. Historically, the most fees were generated during the TGE for every Strategy. This change just doesn't make any sense. These changes are just wrong and do not benefit the platform, but the opposite. Someone in the private $PNKSTR group said it is turning the platform into the DUMPSTR and I kind of agree with this statement. I'm all for permissionless launches, but with better setup. 99% of the Strategies that were launched under the new rules are doomed and have no chance of success because they have empty treasuries. So I'm calling for changes so that at least future Strategies have a chance! I'm proposing the following changes: - Keep it permissionless. - Raise the launch fee back to 1 $ETH. Split it between $PNKSTR and @token_works like before. 80/20 or 50/50, I don't care. - No tokens for the person who launched it unless they are the owner of the collection. So there is no spam of new Strategies, but actually only Strategies that make sense to people are launched. - Go back to lowering fees every minute, not every block, so there is time for people to strategise and for the Strategy to collect fees for the initial inventory. $CREDITSTR is a great example because it had time to collect fees during the TGE. - The delay for the Strategy launch should be 1 per week, and let people lock the next Strategy in advance so everyone can prepare and @token_works or the community has time to share the news about the new Strategy launch like before. People need to know about the new Strategy in advance so it has a chance. Rushed, fast, and stealth launches obviously do not work. Give the community the chance to share the news with the world. There is not enough liquidity for a new Strategy per day anyway. - Redirect 10% of the fees to Punk Lister until it is claimed by the collection owner. (This is only one change from the new update that I like and support.) Because of these new changes, I already sold many Strategies I held. From now on, I will only focus on $PNKSTR, $VIBESTR, ethereum:0x3ca20831ebea5c99aa6e574d83f0a7c733f7e4d0, $PAINSTR, and $STREET, unless something changes. I'm still bullish on $PNKSTR and the alt Strategies I mentioned above, but bearish on anything new launched under the current conditions. 🤷‍♂️

Everything mentioned above drove value to $PNKSTR, but the most important factor was the price movement of Crypto Punks. $PNKSTR is a form of leveraged bet on Crypto Punks, and it is directly affected by their price performance. If Punks are sold, it creates a liquidity event that burns tokens, brings more fees, and pushes the price up. You could see the leverage in action a few days ago. The Crypto Punks floor went from 29,5 $ETH to 30 $ETH, and $PNKSTR did more than 2x! Of course, it works both ways. If Crypro Punks floor goes down, $PNKSTR will suffer even more. But it collects fees on the way down and captures value anyway. So what are the main catalysts for Punk Strategy? - Direct connection to Crypto Punks success. If Punks go up, $PNKSTR will go up even more! - Every other NFT Strategy burns $PNKSTR, so Punk Strategy is also an index for the success of the broader NFT ecosystem. - Success of $FWA. 0.2% of $FWA fees will be used to buy Punks from Punk Strategy regularly. - If @Rhynotic dedicates some of his time to the Strategy Ecosystem, it will be another catalyst for sure. $PNKSTR is just a patience game! If you believe in CryptoPunks, it is a no-brainer. The mechanisms mentioned above will never stop. $PNKSTR is code-driven, so it is easy to predict what is going to happen. In my opinion, the success of $PNKSTR is preprogrammed in the market with good sentiment. I'm ok to hold and wait through bearish times. I should be alright long-term. Remember, $PNKSTR can be worth 1$ even with a $10 mil market cap thanks to the aggressive burn mechanisms. @token_works
