🗣️ Sonia on the togetherness and positivity in the dressing room this season: “I said last season I was really much convinced about what we needed to change coming into this season. I think I always reflect a lot on when things are going wrong, but also when they are in a positive.
I said from last season I was convinced about what we had to do different, probably the team being more together this season helps a lot in terms of having better performances on the pitch. But I’m taking that from my own experience when I was a player - being in different locker rooms with national team and clubs, but also from my experience when I was coaching OL Lyonnes.
You know you can have like really good team with really good players, if they don’t want to work for each other it’s almost impossible to achieve your goals and ambitions. So I think you need to find the balance between having the quality on the pitch but also players who want to perform for each other and think about the team first.”
